Financial Help for Vet Care

Feline Friends Network cannot provide assistance with the cost of medical care for your cat, however, we hope the following suggestions may be helpful.

East Village Animal Hospital (EVAH) | has clinics in Kitchener, London and Hamilton ON, and is dedicated to providing comprehensive preventative medicine services, including spay / neuter / vaccination / micro-chipping / anti-parasite treatments, as well as general out-patient medical & surgical services for pets cared for by low-income individuals & those on social assistance, animal rescue groups, humane societies and municipal shelters in an 12-county region surrounding Kitchener and London.

Vet Outreach Program | Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth | offers free veterinary care to pets of individuals experiencing homelessness or vulnerable housing situations.

Paws Canada | provides access to vet care when people and pets need it most. Many Ontario families are facing terrible choices when their beloved animal companions get sick. Through collaboration with vet clinics, and community agencies, we subsidize the costs of veterinary care for animals that would otherwise have to be surrendered or euthanized for purely financial reasons. PAWS provides the only publicly-accessible programs to assist low income and in-crisis Ontarians with access to care for their animal companions.

Petcard | A simple and affordable way to finance the treatment or product your pet needs and it allows you to get it without delay. Petcard’s veterinary financing programs ensure that you don't delay the treatment your pet needs due to cost concerns by offering you a variety of financing terms with monthly payments. Apply online or click here for an application form you can print.

Scratchpay | Scratchpay provides you with simple, friendly payment plans. Scratchpay isn't a credit card. They approve more patients with affordable rates. No hidden fees. No prepayment penalty. No deferred interest.

The Farley Foundation assists people in need by subsidizing the cost of veterinary care for their sick or injured pets. If you need assistance, please speak with your veterinarian. It is up to the veterinarian to apply for funding on behalf of eligible pet owners. Pet owners cannot themselves apply for Farley Foundation funding.
